      Content Creator Interview

      19 Nov 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tattoo Projects in Oct 2024

      Interview

The WORST interview process, they didn't even know what their own interview process was. The first round was online and was very basic questions, then the second round being in office with the hiring manager. They had me come in for a 3rd round where I interviewed with the project manager and another executive level person. I thought that was the end of the process but they wasted my time by calling me in for a 4th round where I was asked the same questions I answered in my 3rd round. I was told I would hear back a week later. The week came and I heard nothing so I emailed the hiring manager and nothing. I emailed again 2 weeks later and still nothing. A whole month went by, and I thought I had got ghosted since I couldn't even get an update. I ended up getting an email at 10:30pm a whole month later stating I didn't get the job and that I was unprofessional and not understanding about the hiring process.... They called me that when they couldn't even answer a simple email about an update on the process. Seems highly unprofessional and rude and they didn't seem very diverse at the company at all. They called themselves fast paced yet couldn't answer a simple email... not correct. Don't even try interviewing for them, they will waste your time!

We're bummed that you were disappointed in the interview process. Please understand in the era of everyone believing they are a social media expert, hiring for our social media and content team is more rigorous process that involves all the department heads that interact with social. Judging by the interview questions, you made it to the last round, and interviewed with me. Having participated in team sports is important to us. It's not a deal breaker, but it's a leading indicator of collaboration and cooperation. Your comment about diversity we do take seriously. We acknowledge advertising's historic lack of diversity, and have steadily improved our diversity over the last 4 years, while also prioritizing the right skill sets and perspective for all roles. It's never perfect, but we're committed to progress. In fact, the person hired for this position was a person of color, and if my memory holds, all three final candidates for this role were from diverse backgrounds. However, those are not the reasons they rose to the final three. We will absolutely take your feedback seriously about tightening our interview and response times. Have a great day, stay in touch, and good luck in all your endeavors.
