Introduction call from Eng Manager and take-home coding challenge. Thought I did well on take-home challenge, and email specifies to give time frame to finish the task(about 2 hours) along with the encouragement of 'don't give up' and let them know when you'll be done. Funnily enough, they'll ghost you for whatever reason afterward. Here are my notes from my initial call: Data scientist team gives pickles, notebooks, packages to serve(prob unorganized). Backend team does ops as well. There are some terraform experimental projects and react typescript project. I mentioned code review, processes, tests, didn't seem to be any? The interview process is a coding challenge -> whiteboard (algo / system design?)
