The interview process was fine. It consisted of an interview with the head counselor and principal and phase 2 was a classroom guidance lesson with a small group of students. The initial interview was just questions pulled from the ASCA website and a portion where you could ask your own questions about the school. There weren't really any parameters set for the classroom guidance lesson. In the past, I've been told a time limit or a grade level so that I could prepare my lesson. I didn't receive that here without asking. The communication also wasn't something I was used to. The entire process was arranged through email with no point of contact or listed contact information. There was no phone interaction and no real assurance that if you emailed anyone, that they would email you back. After my lesson I also had to ask for feedback.
