An exec reached out to me via LinkedIn. We then had a video call interview and it went well. This all happened within a few days. I was then invited to the office for an in person interview with the C-level folks and others. Thank goodness I asked about parking first. Since the role requires 3-4 days in the office, I assumed they have reserved parking OR pay for your parking costs, wrong. They expect employees to use Metro in SE DC (unsafe), move their car every 2 hours to park on the street or pay $4500/yr to park in a lot. The salary is at the low end of market so it’s definitely not worth it. After I suggested a parking allowance, the exec promptly sent the canned rejection email. We had a dialogue going so I found that incredibly abrupt and unprofessional. Several reviews label Taoti a frat house culture, seems about right.
