I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tangerine Holdings (Manchester, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
Two stage interview, first one was asking about experience and the second I had to do a task which was a presentation. First round I would say I got more of a grilling.

Question 1
Asked me about how I would deal with a busy workload
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tangerine Holdings (Lytham St Annes, England) in Apr 2025
Interview
1. Initial HR Screening (Teams Call)
The first stage was a video call with HR. It was mainly a screening interview to review my CV, discuss the role briefly, and understand my salary expectations, notice period, and motivation. The tone was professional and friendly.
2. Hiring Manager Interviews (Teams Call)
The second round was with the hiring managers. It felt more like an open and casual discussion. They provided a good overview of the company, department structure, the role’s scope, and expectations. It was a two-way conversation, giving me the chance to ask detailed questions and understand their culture and priorities.
3. On-Site Assessment; Case Presentation
The final stage was onsite at their head office. It included a written assessment covering English, math, and Excel skills. I was also given a case study in advance to prepare and present to a panel. The presentation was followed by Q&A. The panel was friendly and focused on understanding my thought process, logic, and business acumen. The tasks weren’t overly technical, but tested your ability to think practically and communicate clearly.

Question 1
You’re required to complete the on-site assessment (English, math, and Excel), even if some parts may not be directly relevant to the role. You’ll also need to fill out a recruitment form and submit your latest three months’ payslips — as the offer appears to be based solely on that, with limited room for negotiation.
