I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Talk Further in Nov 2024
Interview
Was contacted by a recruiter and scheduled an introductory video call. After the call I was told I’d hear back in a few days if I’d be moving forward.
A week later I had heard nothing, so I emailed the recruiter asking for feedback on why I hadn’t been selected to move forward. I was ignored and never had a reply.

Question 1
Typical questions of experience and future career goals
My experience with Further's interview process for the Sales Engineer role was extremely frustrating and disorganized. The process dragged on for over three months, which included about eight to nine interviews. Midway through, they changed the job description without informing me, which added to the confusion. After my meeting with the CEO, I was told there would be a technical interview to follow, only to be informed afterward that I didn’t get the job because I wasn’t 'technical enough'—despite never having had the technical interview. Even the recruiter seemed surprised and unsure of what was going on. While the recruiter was kind, communication was slow, and responses to emails took way too long. To make matters worse, after all that time, no one was selected for the role, and they decided to change the listing entirely from Sales Engineer to Software Developer. Overall, the entire experience was a complete waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Talk Further (Charleston, SC) in Oct 2024
Interview
Interviewed with the recruiter, hiring manager, and the director of sales.
Then was given a project to optimize their onboarding process, as well as a technical test of building a web application with various integrations. After this, they sent me through a 3 day panel interview.
Everything went great, and then I never heard back. I reached out to the recruiter and was told the company is "shifting it's direction" and that was it.
They probably used my onboarding optimization recommendations too. Steer clear.
