I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Takkion
Interview
I applied for the position on indeed and 3 days later I received an email stating I would not continue in the hiring process, which is no big deal. I have been rejected before, so I moved forward with the job search. 4 days after the rejection email I receive a phone call that went unanswered followed by a voice mail and a text message from a technical recruiter asking me if i was still interested in the position and if I would like to do an interview. I thought I would have a fairly decent chance at getting an offer seeing as how they reached out to me after declining my initial application, I was wrong. I went through the video interview process and was told they would reach out to me letting me know if I got the position and when I would start or if I didn't get the job, Either way I was supposed to hear back from someone. I sent out a thank you email shortly after expressing gratitude and excitement for the job. Anyway a week went by and I didn't hear anything so I sent out follow up request emails and still no response. I eventually called the recruiter that contacted me asking for a follow up which he responded by saying he would get with the hiring manager and let me know something shortly.. Another week went by and I still had not heard anything. Again I sent out emails and made phone calls just trying to figure out what was going on and never heard anything I eventually called the office and asked to speak to people that were CC in the email from my video interview and asked them to help in a follow up hoping I could get an answer. Nothing happened. I resorted to texting the guy that texted me and literally within 5 minutes I got an email saying I wouldn't continue in the hiring process. Im not sure what happened but they reached out to me and then wasted 2 weeks of my time giving me the run around and would never respond to emails or text messages. Why reach out to me and then not make an offer? Overall not the best experience and a complete waste of time.
