Interview
This company’s hiring process is a parade of disorganization masquerading as thoroughness. Four rounds of interviews, a presentation, and a CEO coffee chat—for a $80K role. After weeks of effort, they rejected all finalists, claiming none “checked all the boxes.” Instead of making a decision, they’ve opted to restart the process entirely, wasting everyone’s time.
It’s painfully clear they have no idea what they’re looking for. Leadership seems paralyzed by their own indecision, chasing some mythical candidate instead of recognizing potential talent. This isn’t a company searching for the right fit, it’s a masterclass in navel-gazing and mismanagement.
Rejecting everyone at the final stage is an insult to the candidates and reveals a fatal flaw in their leadership. Companies like this always fail, they waste time obsessing over perfection instead of making smart, pragmatic choices. If they can’t even hire for a mid-level role without this much chaos, how can they possibly build a successful business? Don’t waste your time on this bad bet.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about our hiring process. We appreciate your candor and apologize for any frustration or disappointment caused. We're committed to finding the right candidate and, unfortunately on occasion, reject candidates in later stages. We're committed to continuous improvement and will take your comments into consideration as we strive to create a better experience for all candidates.

Interview
Applied online on their website and was contacted by one of the engineers for a 30 min call. I had up to 3 rounds of interview. Whole process took close to a month.
1st round was pretty relaxed and the interviewer was really cool to talk to. Basically an overview of your skills, interests and about the role. It felt more like a chill conversation.
2nd round was with two Engineers for about an hour. Some scenario technical based questions and overview of a project you've done
3rd round was with a Director and another engineer as well. Lasted about an hour.
I didn't get a response afterwards, so I emailed and got a rejection.
Overall it was a decent experience. Although, it would've been nice to get a response given how far I went in the interviews.

Interview
the most unprofessional experience!
I applied in Nov. 2020, I received an interview in Feb 2021. The Interviewer was very nice and open. we talked over different aspects of their product and I had a similar experience in their area. The interviewer showed herself very interested and told me they will set up the next round with a ROS-based take-home coding challenge.
But, I never heard back from their recruiter. after a few weeks, I reached the recruiter and she told me they have decided not to move forward.
So, I don't understand why the manager told me, they will be asked for a coding challenge. It is easy to say "ok, we will interview other applicants and if you were qualified we will notify you for the next round."
This is seriously annoying and unprofessional to keep you waiting!
