Taft Furniture interview questions

The interview was very typical. The interviewer actually told me that I cared too much and that most other people are a little more laid back and don't care if they get the job or not.. That was strange.. I didn't get the position because "the sharks would eat me up" meaning the other salesmen. Maybe he was right but it was a strange interview none the less. I guess if you really want this job, act like a shark who doesn't care if he gets hired.

Initial call from HR was very good - encouraging and positive. Got interview with owner based on HR recommendation. Owner and other upper management present, but offered little input, so made one wonder why they were even present. I bit more "smarmy" than professional - but, hey, you can find that anywhere. Owner seemed slightly eccentric, but easy to communicate with.
