- 5 rounds total. A bit lengthy. It consisted of a screening call, then an interview with the hiring manager, as well as an AE equivalent in the position, BD Manager, and finally the VP of sales.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tackle.io in Jan 2021
Interview
Fairly straightforward process. I interviewed with the recruiter, my hiring manager, and 2 other cross-functional leaders I'd be working with in the role. There was an emphasis on the transferable skills I brought, and less interest in domain expertise.

Question 1
How will your skills help you accomplish the work required of the role?
After the recruiter screening, I declined to move forward! Sadly, the negative reviews are not all angry ex-employees venting.
Applied online and less than 48 hours later a recruiter reached out. The recruiter needed to change the time, but they were deeply respectful and professional about the time change.
The job description appeared to be well written however, it was probably generated by ChatGPT. The JD outlined a team of product marketers, content writers, and graphic designers-plural! They had one of each.
The recruiter was not particularly well versed in product marketing and it that was apparent.
The recruiter presented a thoughtful overview of the process. The red flag?
A 30.60.90 presentation which is benign however, this was presented as an opportunity to demonstrate my consulting skills. Slight problem, they have a current marketing advisor. I am not sure the recruiter even understood that they had articulated that this was free consulting for the marketing advisor!
