Interviewed with HR and HM on site at TTSH for a healthcare administrative role.
Negative experience with HR manager, undermined career experience that is not in healthcare sector, minimal eye contact throughout the interview as well and can come off as a bit disrespectful to candidate working at private/tech industries (in my experience). Mentioned smth along the lines that everyone is a "manager" in the tech industry. (Which is obviously untrue, usually dependant on company and org structure)
Received HR feedback to tailor CV further as people in the healthcare industry won't know what a "business blocker" is on the CV and was speaking with a sarcastic tone by mentioning that "very good candidates" have their CVs exactly tailored to the industry, etc etc. Went on for about 3 to 5 mins on this.
Chose not to further my interview process with them after this negative experience.
Please respect candidates from other industries, if you prefer candidates that has more recent healthcare industry experience, do indicate in your job postings.
On the other hand, the HM was nice and genuinely wanted to get to know me more.
