The interviewing process was interesting. I had an initial interview via the phone with the previous IT manager as well as a Senior systems administrator. The position I applied for was a manager but the previous IT manager seemed to focus on the one hands on skill that I did not possess. The ironic thing about that was the company doesn’t use this technology and wouldn’t have access to it because it government proprietary with Active Security Clearance to use the system. Also the current Sr System Admin didn’t ask me a single question.
