Interview
They use pre-determined requirements to rank each interviewee. The interview, however, mainly focused on project details, with little discussion turned to the interviewee. Therefore, I'm not sure how what new information was drawn from the interview vs. what was already provided on CV.

After being shortlisted post the initial screening consisting of the CV, Transcript of grades and Motivation Letter, a skype interview took place by 2 people, 1 technical and 1 more technocratic.

General questions about prior research experience, experimental know-how, and how I see the societal and technical implications of the project offered.
The interview was more to understand my past academic/research experiences and it was more a discussion than a question and answer type interview.
