I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Westerly, RI) in Apr 2019
Interview
The interview process is quick and not a difficult process. You will have to fill out paper work and do training if you are hired. Dress fairly nice for the interview. From my experience, it is a light hearted interview where they receive impressions and basic information from possible employees.
very simple, easy questions, quick and under 30 mins. know that they have a front of house and back of house; back of house typically unloads the truck in the morning.
It was a pretty basic interview, they asked all the typical interview questions. Got me in and out and were super nice. They said to dress business casual and gave me time to ask any questions I had
Professional and engaging interview process. The staff was welcoming as I visited the local store. They led me to the hiring manager who was energetic, displayed great communicable skills, and knowledgeable. I was engaged in an interview with seasoned managerial presence, history, and associate expectations. I'm delighted to join the TJ Maxx family!
