I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Riverdale, UT) in Sept 2014
Interview
the interview process was probably the best i had ever experienced. it was very professional and somehow laid back at the same time, it was just an environment of comfort and that made things go really smoothly. it didn't take too long and it was just a pleasant way to start with an amazing company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
they asked me things such as, why should you work at our company and what are your strengths.
very simple, easy questions, quick and under 30 mins. know that they have a front of house and back of house; back of house typically unloads the truck in the morning.
It was a pretty basic interview, they asked all the typical interview questions. Got me in and out and were super nice. They said to dress business casual and gave me time to ask any questions I had
Professional and engaging interview process. The staff was welcoming as I visited the local store. They led me to the hiring manager who was energetic, displayed great communicable skills, and knowledgeable. I was engaged in an interview with seasoned managerial presence, history, and associate expectations. I'm delighted to join the TJ Maxx family!
