I was offered the role not long ago and declined for the following reasons:
- In my initial interview, I made it clear that to accept the role I would need the highest pay being offered and was told this was not a problem. When the offer was presented it was less than the highest pay and when I explained that I needed them to be flexible it took them over a day to get back to me. They replied noting "We were able to work something out" then offered the highest pay and I still declined.
- There was a lot of emphasis on the current person in the role. They wanted someone willing to walk around and chat with other coworkers to communicate information and noted this person does not do this currently. I was told in one interview they have only been there for 6 months while another person told me 1 year. From the way they made it sound, the people you would be speaking to would not be the most respectful, easy or open to change.
The overall vibe did not seem to be a very welcoming and supportive environment. I recently spoke with someone who used to work at TGI and they noted as well how toxic the environment is. Save yourself the time and apply anywhere else.
