I applied to the job via TEGNA's website and a few weeks later, a recruiter reached out to me asking about my availability for a phone interview. That took place a few days later. The recruiter asked for my best clips and I sent them off. I never heard back from the recruiter, even after two follow-up emails about my application status.

Interview
It was a very thorough interview but it never felt uncomfortable! The producer interviewing me had an easygoing vibe and it felt more like a conversation with a few difficult questions.

I had five interviews over the phone with people of different levels within the operation (from the top to people who would be my equals). Each interview was about 45-an hour 45.
