Interview
Applied online. Went through a recruiter screen, panel interview with 4-5 engineers, then 2 on-site interviews--one in their manufacturing plant in Redwood City and another in their engineering office in Fremont. On-site interview was ~7 hours total.
Interview process was very messy and disorganized. Panel interview had to be delayed because recruiter did not give me the link to the video interview. On-site interview had to be re-arranged on the fly because multiple interviewees couldn't make the interview.
On top of that, I was completely ghosted after the final 7 hour on-site interview. I was told to expect a response after a week or so. Not even a generic rejection email. I had to look at my application profile on the website to find out I was rejected.

Question 1
Name a time you improved the process of an existing product.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TE Connectivity (Pune) in Jun 2025
Interview
In initial discussion it was told that role is for manager but on interview day I found they are interviewing for engineer role. They took 3 rounds of interview for more than 3 hours. First round was related to my experience and few technical question. Second round was CAD test. Gave me 3D CAD file on 1 screen and on other screen asked me to create CAD and drawing. The CAD model was not simple and time provided was not enough to measure the dimension and create geometry. During that test itself 1 more interviewer came and started asking me lot of hypothetical questions which were irrelevant for the position. Within 1 hour the CAD interviewer came and after analyzing completion level of model asked me why you were not able to complete? Even though he knew that other guy asked me lot of question during that 1 hour. This is worst level of unprofessional interview I have ever given in my career.
A HR sent me an email to schedule a call - never called me on the scheduled time. Later, there wasn't any reply for emails too. Please make sure to inform the candidates about your changes in plan - it would be helpful if the candidates are not left hanging.
