      Site Reliability Engineer Interview

      25 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TCG Digital in Jun 2025

      Interview

Poor interview experience – lacks professionalism! Just wrapped up an interview process that left me disappointed. The interviewers did not introduce themselves, kept their cameras off, and jumped straight into rapid technical questions, which made the conversation feel cold and impersonal. Some of the questions were difficult to follow due to how abruptly they were delivered and the lack of background or structure. When I asked for clarification, I sensed growing impatience, which added to the pressure and made it hard to engage effectively. I believe interviews should foster a mutual exchange of information and respect — this one didn’t reflect that, nor did it give a clear picture of the role or the company culture.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

One question was about how a database in a private subnet accesses external resources.
