Overall it was fine. Was contacted by company after I applied had screening, talk with team lead, then coding interview with two managers took awhile to hear back about anything but recruiter was helpful.

Interview
Their interview process is a mess. Recruiter emailed me to ask for general availability and I gave her one. Recruiters usually confirm with you before scheduling an interview for you, but she sent me an interview confirmation after 10 days ( scheduled one for the next day) without checking with me first. She didn’t even call me to go over the hiring process. That’s fine, but when I emailed her asking what to except for the interview, trying to find out if it would be technical, white-boarding, behavioral or resume screen. She said I don’t know which was very unprofessional of her.
I went on to interview with two people and they didn’t even have any human interaction with me. Just kept on asking questions like a machine. One of them was a team lead and he sounded a bit rude. By the end of this interview I was sure I didn’t want to work with these people no matter the outcome. Team work and good interaction can tell the culture of the company and I saw none in the people involved in the hiring process.

4 stage process
1. Pre-screening with hiring manager with some technical questions about general concepts
2. Coding interview with multiple questions (4 parts progressively getting more difficult)
3. System design - Asked to design the system that you would be working on
4. Behavioural interview with a more senior engineering manager
This was supposed to be the final stage and I got rejected and they gave no reason or feedback. I can't believe this is still happening in 2024.

We were talking about my experience in the last role. My experience in the last role was quite positive overall. My application was not progressed further and I haven't received any feedback unfortunately. I will apply to them in the future for sure!
