I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T-Mobile in Jan 2017
Interview
First received an email telling me they were interested. After setting up a date to talk over the phone we talked about the job the recruiter explained it was a sales rep in the call center. Pretty much made sure I was still interested. Then we set up the first in person interview. The interview was pretty laid back, the two men interviewing me had blue jeans and logo tea shirts. They asked a few questions about who I am why I want to work here. All of those were simple easy questions to give great answers too. Then the big part of the interview was the role plays. My recruiter had told me that the interview would mainly be role plays so I was prepared as much as possible. They gave me three laminated papers and told me I have 10 minutes to read them, then they would call me on the phone next to me. It was definitely weird trying to sell over the phone as I sell face to face. After I finished the first RP they actually liked my approach told me to make a few adjustments then we did it again with a different scenario. I used what they told me plus what they liked about my first one but I knew there would be a curve ball this time. This time the customer didn't want to hear about what I had to sell because his units had just been broken into. Of course on the papers our fake company I worked for sold a camera system so I turned the bad situation into a sale by listening to what happened to the customer. Asking what type of security system he had what all he lost. Then when he gave me resistance I followed up with I understand but I will stress this most customers wait until they are victims of theft before they act. You have just had a horrible event happen to you and your business. I would recommend you make the investment to protect your business so this won't happen again. Both the men were very pleased with my second role play minor tweaks they added to it. After I left I got a phone call 15 minutes down the road it was the recruiter saying they loved me and wanted to proceed. After that just set up another phone call which she told me is just a formality. The person this time asked more about me and why T-Mobile. After that and passing a background check I got the official offer and accepted through email.
Interview with stores manager and offer letter usual received immediately after if it goes well. Question are the typical “tell me about yourself “ “where do you see yourself in 5 years” & “why do you want to work at T-Mobile”

Interview
It was a very informative and easy process from start to finish. The hiring manager was very friendly and down to earth. I enjoyed the whole interview. I would highly recommend anyone applying to T-Mobile. It was prompt and on time interview. They look for people with a decent background in sales.
