I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Dublin, Dublin) in Aug 2015
Interview
It was a brief 10 minute interview with who would become my assistant manager. Small room, 1 on 1. Was offered tea as I waited. Pleasant atmosphere. A lot of material on the walls that answered a number of questions I was asked about the company itself - its set-up, the brands they sell, how they sell them at low prices etc.
Group interview then individual interview. It was easy. They asked questions and wrote it down on a white board. Individual interview was asked a tough situation ive been in and the solution.
Easy, they just want to see that your availability is good and you can follow instructions. Don’t talk about your degree or any corporate experience they reject people for being overqualified
I applied online. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Southend-on-Sea, England)
Interview
The interview was based on normal questions for a retail position. The manager was lovely and very calming. A great place to work very supported staff and management are great.
