The interview process consisted of two on camera interviews before I was ghosted. The two interviews were standard interviews, but I never received a letter letting me know that I did not get the position. I also contacted the interviewers once by email and once on LinkedIn in weeks following the interview to both say thank you for the time and follow up on the status. I never received a response. I find this incredibly disrespectful to the interviewee who invested time in the company to interview. The least they could offer is a generic "you didn't get the job" email. There was a Sysco strike going on at the same time, which was another red flag into how they treat people. Particularly for a company that is trying to expand sustainability, common courtesy should be expected. If they decided to postpone hiring, if I did not get the job, if they position no longer exists, or anything else that may be holding up hiring or making a decision, a short email would have appropriate. I feel like I dodged a bullet without having to dodge.
