      Easy interview

      Application

      I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sysco

      Interview

It was a joke. The Director of Credit was clearly not well-versed in interviewing. It took four weeks to make a decision. All candidates were internal and the other two were clearly unqualified.

      Credit Manager Interview

      20 Jul 2011

      Plant City, FL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sysco (Plant City, FL) in Jan 2011

      Interview

I applied online and was contacted by phone. After a short phone interview, we scheduled an in person interview. I interviewed with two people, my immediate boss and his superior, the controller. They were not at all sure what I was to do on a day to day basis- it was a new position - though they were adamant that it would take 50-60 hours per week. I asked what kind of company culture they had in the office (meaning friendly, busy, like family?) and was told that they had many different types of people working there from all over the world. After that, it was pretty much over. looking back, I'm glad I didn't get the offer. On a good note, they did have the courtesy to send me a postcard letting me know I was done with the process.
