The interview process at SynergySuite included 3 stages over several weeks, starting with a recruiter call followed by interviews with the hiring manager and team. Process focuses on both technical skills and cultural fit, and is generally professional though sometimes lengthy.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Can you describe a challenging problem you faced at work and how you solved it?
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SynergySuite (Draper, UT)
Interview
Very long interview process, be prepared for a 2-4 week process before you are hired. You’ll do multiple interviews, followed eventually by interviews with the VP of sales and the CEO. They really want to see that you are there for the long haul, and are willing to let them coach you. The process is honestly a mess, but if you really want the job, they are more looking for “the right person” than someone who is well qualified, so really come with the extra-curricular’s.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What is one piece of constructive criticism you recently received, and how did it help you to improve?
Thank for you giving your feedback on our interview process. We’re sorry to hear you found it frustrating. The position you interviewed for is entry-level sales and can be difficult for the employee if they are not prepared for the rejection that can happen in the course of doing the position. Because of this, we view personality fit for the role just as or more important than previous work experience.
Additionally, we value promotion from within, so having someone who is coachable allows them to more quickly progress within the company and build their career.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SynergySuite (Lehi, UT) in Feb 2021
Interview
4 levels of interview. The entire team asks questions to make you really open up about why you're serious about the job and why you chose sales. The team does a group interview near the end to make sure there aren't clashing personalities.
