I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SynerMed (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
The position was posted in May of 2017. I applied for it. In September of 2017 I forgot I had applied for it and a vendor calls me to see if I'm interested in the position. I say yes, and then SynerMed told the recruiter that I have already applied so they couldn't represent me.
After phone interview with SynerMed, I was asked to come for an interview for 1:30-3pm. I stayed until 4pm. Director and designer asked me so many questions that I thought I answered well. I drew on the whiteboard and they asked questions such as AI and SPA.

Interview
Preliminary process included viewing a YouTube video of the culture. Seemed like a nice place to work. Met with several people, however one person gave impression that work there is disjointed and highly stressful. She might have had a bad morning.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at SynerMed (Monterey Park, CA)
Interview
Upon arrival they make you read a story called "A letter to Garcia" after which the HR personnel will take you on a small tour with a brief over view of the organization and then do a short interview with you prior to the hiring manager interviewing you. Since I knew the hiring manager directly my interview was a bit different, it was approximately 2 hours and it was interrupted by the Senior VP last minute so that threw me for a loop.
I was extremely disappointed with the process, no one got back to me, no word or response, not even when I had originally applied and I had to go through my connections to have my resume delivered directly to the hiring manager.
I was also very disappointed with the way HR handled the end, after I had sent emails out asking about the status was I called back to let me know that they had gone with a different candidate. I believed them, only to be outreached by a recruiter for the same position! It would have just been nicer if they had been honest and upfront that they are looking for something different.
