Got an employee referral for the Associate Consultant role.
The interview process was utterly horrible and a waste of time. The HR person that contacted me completely forgot the interview time, and when asked to reschedule later that day was 30 mins late for the phone screen. Followed up for updates 3 times and just gave up. Ended up getting an offer from a different life science consulting firm. Please Syneos, invest more in your HR because this is how you lose qualified candidates. Would definitely never recommend to anyone unless they wanted to waste their time.
The first round of interviews consisted of a behavioral interview and a case interview, and the second round of interviews consisted of a behavioral interview, case interview, and thirty minute presentation.

Interview
Completed two interviews over a month and a half. Followed up three times over two months and was led on then never received a rejection email. I understand things can get busy but having to chase a recruiter to let you know what is going on is really discouraging and disrespectful.
As far as the actual interviews
1) A behavioral and case interview about 30-45 minutes each. Both were pretty typical
2) Behavioral, case, and presentation style interview. The presentation topic was given a week before and needed to be prepared before the interview. Again, pretty typical interview questions. However, the interviewer for the case was unprepared trying to find a "good" case to give me for about 2 minutes.
