Stay away from this company as their entire recruitment process is extremely unprofessional.
I applied for a consultant position based out of Bridgewater, NJ and after 6 rounds of interviews (one being a 30 min long panel presentation), I was informally offered an associate consultant role based out of New York City. There was no communication prior to any of the 6 rounds about the role’s location changing or my experience not fitting the role. Salary offered was much lower than expected at the associate level.
I was then contacted two days after the informal offer with benefits information and an ask from HR to chat. HR never called and I was then met with an automated rejection email a couple hours later.
I assumed that was the end of my application process. However, two weeks later, I was contacted to have an ADDITIONAL interview with a leader in the team. As I was confused, I clarified if I was still in the running for the role, to which I was told that I should have already been given the offer.
One day later, I received a voicemail from the apologizing for the miscommunication and that I was still in the running for the role. I was told that “it’s us, not you,” and asked me “if I was still interested in the role based on how we (the company) treated you.”
I expressed openness to continuing the process, despite all I had been through, and was told from the HR department that if I “don’t hear back next week, to contact them again for an update.”
I never did. I was ghosted at this point.
This entire interview process was grueling, time consuming, and consisted of a total of 1.5 months with little to no communication about next steps/timeline for hiring. Clearly, they do not care for their future talent.
