My Interview was for 5 rounds. First they took basic interview about skills and Information security Second interview was of HR about your background and basic questionnaire. Here comes the Big part. They will call you and arrange an interview on Skype (but wont be sure) Third round is Technical round which would be on Skype for about an Hour.(I finally got to attend this round after so many postponements for almost a month) Fourth Round is also Technical on Skype with the Technical Manager from US. This interview went on for about 45 mins. Fifth and Final round is With HR Manager and IT Lead .. Well they havent asked much in depth about Technical but they insisted or not sure that i was going to join synchrony. I mean comon if i wouldnt have been interested i would have skipped the interview and wont have agreed for the offer which is much lesser than other offers i got . They rejected me in final round without stating reason. I tried to call, messaged and E-mailed the HR and concerned persons about the status of my interview but no response whatsoever for about 2-3 weeks and later on finally one of HR called me up and said we will let u know the result by evening but never called up. so i called them back the next day to my surprise that i was not selected in last round. All this process took 4 months. You have call up the HR every time to know the status of your interview or for the skype interview details. Overall Technical Interview was good But HR department is not upto mark .. Waste of time after all that Hassle. Still having said that I will try for synchrony again just because of the Technical team.

HR were polite & quite responsive, they even reimbursed the travelling expenses for interview process. Onboarding process was impressive got end to end support for relocation . Overall a great experience & entire process finished within a week.
