This place immediately raised red flags for me, but I went on the interview to sate my intellectual curiosity. For one, they make a large portion of revenue on selling their 'agents' leads, and sell the same leads to multiple employees, which has two implications. One, a person could be called 50 times, annoying them and insuring you, the 51st caller, will not get a sale. Two, SFG has an incentive to hire more agents rather than sell insurance because they make money off of those agents purchasing leads. The interview process was them trying to sell me on "my future", not me trying to sell myself. My resume happens to be good, and I admit I was originally beguiled by the salary on LinkedIn (until I learned more about the company), but in my opinion you should always have to sell yourself in an interview unless you are at the top of your field and in high demand, etc.

Pretty easy interview process, is a very independent and relaxed job. Very much a 1099 position. Can sometimes give off mlm vibes. The interview was overall pretty seamless though, some interviewers did cohorts or group interviews.
