I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sweden UNLTD (New York, NY) in Apr 2014
Interview
Recruiter sent me here which was an awkward matter of entering, seeing no reception just a pool of employees, one managed to greet and direct me to an empty expansive meeting room. Richard the founder enters and asks no technical questions only expensive philosophical ones probably to test if my personality is a match for his wild, creative, bombastic, sardonic one. Soon we both realize this personality match won't work so he passes me off to a senior developer to talk for a bit but we agree that the interview can end because of the founder's outsized influence. Very awkward and little about the technical. I've never had an interview so memorable in such a strange distasteful way.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sweden UNLTD (New York, NY) in Feb 2017
Interview
I heard from them 1 month after applying online. They mentioned something about getting back into things after the new year so I figured I would give them a chance because I was still looking. They asked me to come in for an in person interview. The office was really nice and they offer free water. However, halfway through the interview I could clearly sense that they were looking for someone more mid/senior level. They quickly lost interest and seemed bored throughout my interview. I found the whole process rude, inconsiderate, and disconnected. If someone had looked through my resume and experience, what was I doing at an interview I was clearly not the right fit for? At the end, 2 out of 3 interviewers walked out of the room with barely a goodbye.
Terrible experience. I have never had such rude interviewers and it was a waste of time. Just imagine how they must treat their employees and clients....
