I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SurveyMonkey (Portland, OR) in Jan 2015
Interview
There is a somewhat rigorous interview process. I met with about 4 people over the course of several hours, so plan accordingly. There is a section of the interview where you have to give some writing style samples within a certain time frame. They ask a lot of questions, A LOT. I get that you're interviewing, but it just seemed repetitive. I obviously didn't get the job, but was told "I was close" whatever that means.

Question 1
Explain, in detail, how to use Instagram to a 90 yr old.
A series of interviews, first by the recruiter. Then with the Manager, then you do a panel interview which will include others on the support team who are in more senior roles, or a lead. Usually another interview with a manager from a different location, until the final interview with your potential line manager. They will each have a topic to quiz you on: Technical, Team skills and soft skills.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SurveyMonkey
Interview
Involved meeting with several executives after passing 2 rounds of phone interview and screening with an in-house Recruiter. Then I was asked to complete a mock up computer test, testing type speed and grammar. Made it to the finish line in the end.

Question 1
Number of questions: behavioural type as well as competency-based.
The interview process was quite simple. It started with a HR interview round, followed by an interview with the manager and then there was a panel interview with 4 interviews back to back.
