I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sur La Table (Houston, TX) in Apr 2018
Interview
Drawn out, hard to schedule, and they don't even read the application.
Didn't even look at my application until I mentioned I was referred by the district manager at the time.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sur La Table (Boulder, CO) in Mar 2024
Interview
Very laid back interview, only a couple of questions were asked and the rest of the time I just had a fun conversation with the hiring manager. It felt more like a chat with a friend rather than an interview.

Interview

there was a brief phone interview then they asked me to come in for an in person interview and tour of the kitchen. they asked general interview questions and did not require any prior experience to be interviewed.
