      Analyst Interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at SupportPay (Sacramento, CA) in Jul 2017

      Interview

I was told to come-in for a Panel interview with 5 persons. When inquired why the position I applied changed from Product Manager to Systems Analyst, I was told I was always considered for this role. I let go of the confusion and attend the Panel Interview. The in-person panel wasn't into tech/data science, I suppose. They asked bizarre questions like "What do you do in your free time?" "Do you think we work with the government?", etc. The panel, that were remote asked even vague questions like "You said you've worked with Tableau software. Do you think it's a cache based software?". I was initially allotted one hour interview, but we ended up winding in 30 minutes. After following up with the Talent acquisition and other company's personnels, I still haven't received an update yet. I believe communication is the foundation for any company. Since communication itself is an issue here, this definitely seems like a red flag.
