Interview
5 minute phone screen where they ask about background check, car insurance/valid license, and age verification. Followed by a 15 minute virtual interview where they ask the same questions from the phone screen, one question about your job experience, and a final question where they ask about interesting facts about yourself. The interviewer was 15 minutes late to a 15 minute scheduled virtual interview, the interviewer did not hop onto the call until I called the front desk to inquire about the scheduled interview. He asked the same questions I was asked in the phone screening. I felt it was extremely disrespectful to arrive to a short interview late when that type of behavior would be frowned upon if an interviewee did it. The position works a lot with documentation that is sent to the state which is very important work, I felt that the interview process and questions did not accurately represent how high stakes aspect of ensuring proper documentation. I'm glad that they chose not to have me in the role because I found the process to be disrespectful of my time. I have never had an interviewer arrive late to an interview, that level of unprofessionalism is concerning and if that is how potential prospects are treated, it makes me worried about how current employees are being treated.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All the questions they asked were pre-employment screening questions that you complete on Indeed and that they ask during the phone pre-screen. Very redundant.

Interview
This was the most humiliating interview I have ever had. Unfortunately for me, I do my research about a company before I go in to interview, so I knew who the CEO was before I got there. I saw him walk past me again and again before I was called back. First, a girl called me back to ask if the pay rate was alright for me (16-18 per hour) which is very low for an Executive Assistant but beggars cant be choosers. I told her yes and she sent me back up the front telling me that the CEO was doing all interviews, awesome. But then, some other guy grabs me and you can tell he is just doing the interview because he was asked to. He had no knowledge of the job I was interviewing for and even said I wouldnt be working for him. But, he was nice enough so the interview went well. He tells me that my second interview again...will be with the CEO and to have a seat. I watched him go into the CEO's office and he must have asked him what he thought because I heard him loudly exclaim "I like her! I think shes smart" and then he was yanked in the office and I couldnt hear anymore. Then he comes out and tells me that he is going to "have to get in touch" with the CEO and see if he wants a second interview and told me to have a nice day. The CEO WAS RIGHT THERE! So I know that I didnt get this job strictly because the CEO didnt like the way I looked and refused to even bother to speak to me because of it. This was a total waste of my time and energy. If the CEO has a certain look of person he is going for, he needs to ask for pictures instead of wasting peoples time. And by the way, this is a nonprofit not a modeling agency. If the CEO thinking you're attractive is a qualification for helping children, I can only imagine the kind of help these children are not getting.

Interview
This was the worse interview I’ve ever had. As a certified human resource professional with over 10 years’ experience in human resources, there is a real disconnect with their hiring process. I didn’t spend more than 10 minutes with the CEO and approximately 5 of those minutes were me asking the CEO questions. There were no specific questions asked of me related to the job duties. Please do your due diligence before interviewing with this company. Check out the reviews on glassdoor.com and indeed.com. When you see more negative reviews and few positive reviews, that says a lot about the organization and is definitely a red flag about working there.
