I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sunrize Enterprize (Ottawa, ON) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process was extremely professional. I showed up, singed a sing in sheet. Sat down for a minute. Was brought into the interview. The interviewer was direct and to the point. It was exciting and promising. Within 15 minutes I was convinced this was the position for me!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sunrize Enterprize
Interview
Spokes about everything but the actual job
Did not mention that it was door to door sales.
minimum wage
no commission.
Didn't mention that they basically hire anyone with a pulse.
I got hired right there on the spot to go for a full day unpaid 2nd interview.
I was very desperate so I took the job.
Lesson learned, when you are desperate don't let other exploit you.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
personality questions.
distraction question.
personal questions.
Did not answer the question directly when asked about the door to door part, rather Marty gave a run around about helping help.

Interview
Applied to a posting online, got a call later that day for an interview, so it is very quick! I have a feeling they accept almost anyone for an interview.
The Manager was 40 mins late for my interview, and he was interviewing us in pairs, which was strange and awkward. He didn't really let us finish our own questions at the end, he kind of just rushed us out.
The job posting was a bit misleading, not really a "customer service rep" but actually a door-to-door salesperson. The posting said no sales or commission but that's what it is basically. The more sponsors you get the more you make. This is why I don't like vague job postings, you don't know what the job actually is and ends up wasting a lot of people's time.
