I applied by walking-in and introduced myself and mentioned the name of someone who informed me they are looking for a cashier. The person is a friend and told me that the manager is a good person. He further told me that working with them will help me gain experience and skills that will help me in my future endeavor.

The manager asked me if I have worked at any gas station and why did I leave my previous job.

Asked minimum questions. 5 minute interview.
They were unprofessional on the interview process.
They didn't ask any questions a normal interviewer does.
They looked at your appearance and based that on whether or not you would be good for the job.

The manager of the store was looking for a proper work-ethic student. He would ask for examples of how you would work, and how your classes were. He wanted to know about prior work experiences, and would ask what you did for them and how you thought you did the tasks.

There was no interview process, All i did was walk in say who i was and the manager asked if i could pass a drug test and i said yes then right after i started work for them that very day.
