I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (Boston, MA) in Oct 2016
Interview
Had multiple interviews with various people in different roles around the company. It gave me the opportunity to ask them questions and get a feel on Suffolk as a whole. It also allowed me to gauge the type of people they hire to see if this was a good fit for me. Each person I met with was punctual, down to earth, and very knowledgeable of the company and project details.

Question 1
They asked a lot about past experiences, and how those experiences could help or hurt me in the role I was applying for.
Waste of time, they’ve called me a few times just to lowball and stall. I’ve interviewed with them at least 3 different occasions. Seems like a good company but i’m not sure what’s up with the hiring process
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (West Palm Beach, FL) in Oct 2023
Interview
I was first called by HR for a brief phone screening, which went really well. She had answers to all of my questions and really made me want to be a part of the company. Following that, I was set up for a Microsoft Teams meeting with the Director of the Career Start Program and had as great an experience as the first. I was flown out to West Palm Beach where they hosted about a half day of getting to know the company with three 30-minute interviews scheduled in there. Every interview felt like an authentic conversation and the employees interviewing me were part of the construction team and not just hiring managers. Everyone from start to finish seemed to believe in the company and it was a great experience.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Suffolk Construction (San Diego, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
The interview process was very thorough and coordinated. Everyone I was in contact with was very responsive and I had the opportunity to interview with 4 different people from the organization which was refreshing. It was not very question heavy and in a conversational format.
