Was initially screened and set up by a recruiter so went directly to sales manager. Met in a hotel lobby and had a casual conversation with the RM local to the MD/VA/DC locations. Several very pointed conversations that revolved around my upbringing, family life, and accomplishments thus far. Given my lack of tenure in a sales role, I was denied a next step.
