      Writer Interview

      13 Apr 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Straus News in Aug 2009

      Interview

The editors asked general questions about my writing abilities and experience as well as any experience covering news. They also asked lots of questions to determine my level of interest in working for a community newspaper. They wanted to know that I would meet deadlines and would be reliable covering stories assigned to me. Super professional people who clearly love what they are doing and are committed to high quality journalism.
