I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Strategy& (London, England) in May 2021
Interview
1st stage was a 90min grilling with one of the Directors. This was 30mins of CV chatter and related questions, followed by 55mins of data interpretation.
Pretty laughable approach, the interviewer took himself very serious, and his frostiness almost led me to aboard half way through (he also rocked up in a hoody). I wouldnt want to work with someone like that.

Market sizing on the back of some high-level industry data, identification of demand drivers, and potential for growth in the B2B and B2C parcel industry.
Beaucoup de rounds d'entretiens avec des interviewers souvent mal préparés pour au final avoir un refus après plusieurs semaines d'attente pour des raisons non en ligne avec le feedback des interviewers
Typical Fit to understand your motivation and your past experiences, why Strategy&, why not PwC? Why now?....
Case - Typical post MBA business cases heavy on quantitative, lithium battery company to enter the GCC market
Process was a mess; HR talked down to me in the interview and stated she didn’t want to “waste her time”. I empathize that HR hates her job but it was unprofessional to outright say it to a candidate, especially at a professional services firm where EQ is important.
HR informed me all 4 interviews are scheduled in a single day - and then when only one interview was scheduled, I followed up. Only then did she inform me there would only be one interview. HR has very poor communication skills and did not proactively communicate the change.
The interviewer however was great. Professional, friendly, and acted with class and respect.
