Unpleasant interview process that felt like a Dragon's Den drilling. The panel came across quite stern, direct, and seem to focus on what I could do for them, not a lot about me as an individual or conversations around working together. I interpreted it as a fairly cold place to work without much social culture or support—more of a get into it and churn out/deal with stress/meet the high expectations of the predominantly senior workforce, focused solely on client results.
Asked me to do work for a client and once complete, replied bluntly saying it wasn't up to standards/I charged too much (after they offered to pay for the work done, but without proposing a budget to start with). The entire process lacked compassion.
