      Inbound Marketing Specialist Interview

      27 Apr 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Little Rock, AR
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Stone Ward (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2018

      Interview

They asked standard interview questions with moderate difficulty, but the second round of interviews required that you research one of their actual clients (Sissy's Log Cabin - a jewelry store), prepare a marketing strategy, prepare a presentation, and present it to them. They gave you a week to prepare and submit the proposal. I think to ask applicants to research an existing client and prepare work for the company's existing client borders on unethical when they aren't paying you for your expertise, as they could easily use each applicant's work and still not hire them. I politely declined to proceed with their interview process.
