The interview process consists of two steps: first, candidates answer technical questions to assess their skills, followed by psychological questions to evaluate their mindset and goals for the future/fit for the team.
Few interviews with PI. He asked questions about past experience and technical knowledge questions. Be prepared to know the farmeworks and language in the job posting etc. Coding skills were required. Having past publications also help

Read the paper and found out what is your interesting field, and then ask your professor for a RA chance. Do not be shy, professor are welcome to have students in labs.
