Had a good experience with them, recruitment team were very responsive and lovely. Enjoyed the process and learned alot from it.
First had to submit CV and Cover letter. Then if you got through this, had to complete maths and verbal reasoning tests, it is timed and I found it quite difficult, I thought I failed but I progressed onto the next stage: 30 minute virtual interview. They say its pretty informal but I don’t think so. Asked me: estimate the number of milk cartons sold in Liverpool, how would you agree that an investment should go ahead, Qs regarding writing reports, how can we encourage people to cycle rather than drive,
Assessment centre: First was a individual task where you are given information about bus companies and bus routes deciding whether they go ahead with bus company. 60min to prepare plenty of time then give oral presentation to panel. Then after that was an interview with 2 senior people (mine was for economic development but will have senior people depending on the route you take, e.g. Steer/Steer ED/Amberside). Was okay interview, asked follow-up questions to answer you gave and asked questions based on general technical knowledge on consultancy, Steer ED consultancy. No competency or strengths-based interview, really just technical questions about role.
