The interview was awkward at best. I’m a VP at another bank, so the job was below my level, but the role was a good fit so I applied. The interviewer seemed highly uncomfortable and I had to “drive” the interview myself. She then moved into a few very scripted genetic interview questions, maybe 2-3 questions.
I was told I would hear back within the week and when I didn’t and had a competing offer, I reached out to the recruiter letting them know and asking if they could let me know when a decision would be made. They entirely ghosted me for 2 months despite a second follow up - not even an email to say not chose , or you will hear back by x date. Highly unprofessional. I just got a rejection more than a month after starting in the other role at their competitor.
