***This was an internal candidate interview.
Once I was set for an interview through the company recruiter, I met with just one of the VPs of the P&A department. The interview was fairly straightforward with almost no technical questions. Be sure to nail on why and how you think your experiences and skills will benefit for the role. Most questions were behavioral like tell me about yourself, how do you handle difficult client situations, what do you look for in an ideal work environment, etc. However be sure to have good answers in why you want to work in P&A and the relevant skills and experiences you have.
The only thing that was frustrating for me was waiting to hear back. I was advised that I would hear back about the result, but it seems like the recruiter was only going to call/notify the person who would receive the offer thereby leaving the rest of the candidates hanging on the line. I was told about the rough time period of when I would hear back, so if you don't hear back by that time period, you just assume you didn't get an offer. I guess this really depends on the company and the HR is probably super busy but a simple call or email that you didn't get an offer really helps in moving on instead of anxiously waiting for that phone call.
