I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at State Farm in Dec 2023
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. You do the assessment which is super easy. Then you have a HireVue interview that asks 7 questions. If you’re good with interviews, you should do well. I checked the status of my application and it said “reviewed: not selected” so I’m assuming I did not get the role (haven’t received an email yet). Overall, I think it was a great experience. I would recommend others to apply.

Question 1
Tell me a time you had to make a difficult decision, tell me about yourself and why you chose State Farm, a time you dealt with a difficult customer, how do you adapt to change, and tell me something competitive that’ll make you stand out.

Interview
Virtual recorded interview is first after passing typing test. Second, interview is with an HR Rep. It is not a full interview but giving an over view of the position and expectations. After that is discussed, you are asked if the job is something you are still interested in. Offers are sent in writing.
I first received a 7 question hirevue video interview. I didn't hear back after 2 weeks so I responded with one of the emails with a follow up. A day later I received an email for "candidate conversation" which was very relaxed. After that I had an interview with two questions regarding claim processing and was offered the job the next day.

Question 1
A question regarding how would I handle a claim where claimant was not providing documents for a claim.
Very simply. I went through a virtual interview. This was my first time doing one of these. The process was simple. I thought it was helpful in preparation for the real thing.
