I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at State Farm (Steamboat Springs, CO) in Apr 2011
Interview
I applied from an add in the paper and had to almost bug them to get the interview. But, the interview was friendly and fair. Lot's of questions about office experience. I had never sold insurance but they offered to pay for all the schooling
The interview was a Zoom meeting with other applicants in the meeting. It was extremely stressful the interview left me feeling overwhelmed. It was the first interview I have participated in that was more a talent search than going off of experience.
The interview process is different for every agent. Some agent's want you to meet with their stuff and others just want you to meet with them. Fairly straightforward process with a focus on how you plan to produce.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Louisville, KY) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was very personal and relaxed. The owner of this agency was very flexible, understanding, and kind. Definitely made me feel comfortable when sharing about myself and my experience.
