I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at State Farm (Gardena, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
The interview process was smooth and pleasant. However it is to become a sales person so it was more of a pitch from Farmers to sell for them. The first couple months (until you meet a quota) is commission based. But essentially can be making a lot of money if you are a persuasive person.

Question 1
They will ask how good you are with people and selling through various methods, including cold calling.
The interview was a Zoom meeting with other applicants in the meeting. It was extremely stressful the interview left me feeling overwhelmed. It was the first interview I have participated in that was more a talent search than going off of experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at State Farm (Louisville, KY) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was very personal and relaxed. The owner of this agency was very flexible, understanding, and kind. Definitely made me feel comfortable when sharing about myself and my experience.

The interview process is different for every agent. Some agent's want you to meet with their stuff and others just want you to meet with them. Fairly straightforward process with a focus on how you plan to produce.
